1Who provides the service

Prépara (monprepara.ca) is a business registered in Québec. By creating an account you accept the conditions below.

2What you are buying

Registration is $500 CAD. It gives access to the placement assessment, your level broken down by skill, your personalised 12-week plan, and the platform for the duration of the session.

On top of that, $450 CAD per level you need to climb to reach your target. The number of levels is set by the assessment, not by us, and is invoiced after it. You therefore know the total before you pay it.

3Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel at any time, without having to justify yourself, by writing to bonjour@monprepara.ca.

• As long as you have not started your assessment: the $500 is refunded in full.
• Once the assessment is done: it stays yours, because that is precisely what the $500 pays for.
• The per-level amount is refunded pro rata for the weeks you have left (amount ÷ 12 weeks × weeks not attended).

We process any refund within 10 days. How long it then takes to appear on your statement depends on your bank.

4What Prépara is not

Prépara is a private language training platform. It is not an accredited educational institution and we issue no diploma, official certificate or equivalency.

Your official level comes from the test you take with a recognised organisation, not from us. We guarantee no result on that test, no admission to any program, and no favourable decision on any immigration application — those decisions belong to third parties and nobody can honestly promise them to you.

We do not give immigration advice. If you need it, consult a regulated consultant.

5Our commitment on your level

If you seriously complete the program — at least 80% of the exercises — and do not reach your target level in 12 weeks, we extend your access at no cost until you do. That is an extension of access, not a refund.

6Your account

• Your account is personal. Do not share it: your plan and your practice are built on your results, and two people on one account distort both journeys.
• Give accurate information. A wrong exam date or target level produces a wrong plan.
• The platform's content is for your personal use. Do not redistribute or resell it.

We may suspend an account that shares its access, redistributes content or harms the service. In that case the unused portion is refunded to you under the rule in section 3.

7Availability

We aim for a service that is always available, without guaranteeing it. Interruptions for maintenance or caused by a provider can happen. If a prolonged interruption prevented you from following the session, write to us and we will extend your access accordingly.

8Liability

Our liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us. We are not liable for indirect consequences — a missed admission, an immigration delay, a lost job opportunity — which depend on decisions made by others.

Nothing in these conditions removes the rights the law gives you as a consumer.

9Governing law

These conditions are governed by the laws applicable in Québec. We invite you to write to us before taking any step: most disagreements are settled by an email.
